Hi, you mentioned that your child is given the Third language options, then your DC is among the top 10 % of this year PSLE cohort.

DC got the 3rd language Asian track not Foreign Language so not top 10% 😄 it's for all others

Sorry but what is the difference?[/quote]https://www.moe.gov.sg/education/secondary/language-programmes

If my first choice is 3above cop ,is it safe ?bit of worry as this yr result seems Lot of pupils got high score . T score 240 is it safe to try for Chung Cheng high Yishun .

CCHY had been 237 for 2 years in a row, so 240 should be quite safe. Just make sure you have other options after that just incase.

Anyone with HCI WL or heard those WL but not converted ?

Yes, my DS WL is not being converted in HCI. Any chance of appealing?

Once PSLE results is out, it will be the main (and only) determinant. You can appeal if his t-score meets the school’s COP.

During the briefing at HCI, the P said if you put HCI as first choice and if it didn't get converted, you can appeal provided the kid marks meet their COP.

But seriously if the boy's psle score is above their COP, where bother to appeal? Just go thru S1 posting and he will be accepted anyway.

Exactly! Now you go in with your own say, not tie to any DSA subjects or sports whatsoever, suka suka still can drop the subject/sport if not happy

Perhaps the P meant the COP for 2016. Though I think appeal must be done before S1 submission deadline. The school probably has to finalize DSA WL conversion to CO to MOE before S1 submission.
