Any latest update for Alexandra primary <1km SC? School seem to not keen to provide much info other than it is close call for balloting.

APS is one of those schools who wouldn't reveal the stats breakdown.
Best to go down and see for yourself.

I called APS at 9+ this morning, already 117 within 1km applied out of 113 vacancies. Confirm balloting within 1km...

based on past year stats, APS has conducted balloting for those staying within 1km. this year should not be any different. don't know how many parents have withdrawn or added to the list so far.

Your only option if you haven’t registered is acs j. Acs p only has 1 spot. If you go with acsp you will kick off ballot and risk getting ballot out. As a twin parent would you risk 2 spots?

sherrman will not be the only one. They're many more parents hitting to ACSP or ACSJ but do not come to KSP Forum for checking. So, no need to get too anxious coz they're lots others who'll be tipping the scale & not on yr radar to be hit.[/quote]

I know someone who got a place thru 2B at SJIJ but now becoz acsp left 1 seat at <1km, he wants to go down to see got chance to withdraw from sjij and reg at acsp.. really siao and bo liao.. zzzzz[/quote]

It's common... he wants to take a gamble on his luck. If he really did it & lost ballot, where can he go for 2CS? :?

Bt Timah or Farrer Park primary Loh. If got appetite, go for it. Go big or go home. He power!

But at worst, withdraw sji 2b and apply sji 2c If within 1km, nothing should change. 4pm we will know

withdraw from sji j just because of 1 seat? by the time he withdraws and goes to acs, that seat would have been taken.
is it worth it? he is going to bang his head against the wall if that happens or lose the seat because of balloting.
