Can anyone share at what time school starts every day at NUSH (sec 1)? We live quite a distance from the school. Need to take this into consideration. Thanks!

      Hope this help ...

      Example timetable:

Mon 8-10 lesson, 10-10:30 recess, 10:30-12 lessons, 12-1pm lunch, 1-3pm lessons, 3-4 assembly, CCA (depend on individual)

Tue 8-10 lesson, 10-10:30 recess, 10:30-1:30pm lessons, 1:30-2:30pm lunch, reserve for pull out and etc (depend on individual) ... if nothing, then school end at 1:30pm

      Wed 8-9:30 lesson, 9:30-10 recess, 10:30-1pm lessons, 1-2pm lunch, 2-6pm lessons

Thu 8-10 lesson, 10-10:30 recess, 10:30-1:30pm lessons, 1:30-2:30pm lunch, 3-6 electives (depend on individual) ... if no electives, then school end at 1:30pm

Fri 8-8:30 mentoring session, 8:30-9:30 lesson, 9:30-10 recess, 10:30-12pm lessons, 12pm-2pm lunch, 2-3pm lessons, 4-6pm CCA (depend on individual)

long lunch time on Friday, or free time like Friday 3-4pm, Thu 2:30-3pm can be used for pull out, doing homework, looking for teachers, or mentoring session

      2 Hr of PE, 2 Hr Art/Music, 2Hr Hum

      -------------------------------------------------------------

      6.Timetable
      - Monday
      CCA 6pm
      -Tuesday
Usually early(1pm) unless you take electives such as Olympiad or in lower years \"fun\"classes.
      -Wednesday
Depends if you have research. Ends at 2pm then you continue your research classes. Yr 1-3 have compulsary research classes known as Da Vin Ci program. Upper years have their advanced research projects to complete.
      -Thursday
      Varies from level to level
      -Friday
CCA 6pm but usually have a super long break

          Hi.

Do we need to prepare additional portfolio for NUSH? Or the 10 items we keyed in during the DSA application is the portfolio?

If we need to create portfolio ,how to create? What to include in it? Clueless parents here. SOS. ๐Ÿ˜…๐Ÿ™

              Hi,

May I ask if any parent knows roughly how many kids per cohort take Japanese as 3rd language? Do they all choose to do it in house at NUS High? Thanks

For Y1s, its not more than 15 ... and then subsequent years less than 10. These are for those doing it inhouse.
Dont know about those who do it outside.

Hi, what is the criteria for taking Japanese as 3rd language in NUSH? Is that catered for beginners?

                    Hi All,

My son is P6 this years and has been offered CO to NUSH. I am wondering is there a parentsโ€™ whatsapp or telegram group that we can join? Thank you in advance!

Congratulations to all parents and P6 students (!) who have got COs to NUSH. Its not easy to get a CO (or WL) as its about a 1 in 10 chance each year.

For those who want to compare, assess, inquire abt the CO - would suggest that you read the previous years questions in this forum thread. The questions are usually the same each year. NUS High School puts you on a different path from all others in Singapore, and its good and necessary to find out how the school, its curriculum and programs work.

Is there any school bus transportation from amk to NUS high ?

                        Thanks.
