      Mrsks, u also lucky that been paying less than 1% for last 2 yrs? Now us a matter of time , borrowers to be hit by new rising rates . Up n down waves for home owners . But no urgent need to pay off if other investments returns are higher .
      Mp, I went to chk my old emails when you mentioned 2 yrs..really 2 yrs ! Shouldn't complain la hor..this current one with option to change after 1 yr.

          HDB strictly cannot do decoupling.

            That means that if I own a HDB now and would like to purchase a private condo for investment, there is no way to avoid paying the 17% ABSD? Definitely have to pay right?

              No way to avoid. That’s why some parents buy under Trust for their babies! :rotflmao:
