Tell u a tip

People boast bcos they are insecure- they feel threatened by you/environment/ by others so they have to boast constantly to assure themselves that they are good, not just lucky.

Like lets say you play a game with a toddler , you will let the toddler win - see u dont have to prove urself, you know that you are way better, but when you play with ur equals it kinda hurts to lose , sometimes can even give excuses for losing...

Remember this and you can peacefuly ignore boasters...
In fact if your r in a wicked mood you can revel that \"hey she is actually threatened by my abilities...\"

Its better to make the mistake than in the actual psle now, right?

I am always so glad that my dd makes tons of mistakes in normal test, and then she will min her mistakes in the real exam.

Some how Prelims are like that. In fact i have been talking and kinda of boosting some moms as they are very worried abt the child performance at prelims - each one is from a different school, but same story got marks far less than usual standard.
And frankly the reason I could do that was DD has not yet received her marks , and now i am mentally prepared to see her marks ...

Prelims are meant to make u sit up and ensure kids dont slack. So dont worry too much . Feelings cant be helped. Cry it out and move on ...

This is my first time not scoring high due to the mistakes i made, such as writing the wrong topic for composition.But I can safely say that my English and Science has improved.


I think I'm only affected because the head prefect(who is very boastful) kept saying that she was better than me in everything, even though it was true in some ways. I'm not used to her boastings because she only scored second in level position just recently... She boasts alot whenever she beats me.

Well I will keep my morals up and beat her in PSLE!

Does anyone know if we can get the 2010 Top schools’ prelims papers now? Please share if you know where to get them. Thought it’s good for DD to do some practice before the PSLE.

the schools will be doing some exchanging right now, I heard

anyway, feedback is that this year's top school prelim isn't as difficult as before as MOE told them not to shock the kids too much by having too tough prelim (the MOE part was told by school last year)

they were in tears emerging from the prelim ....

If like that then MOE may also not shock the kids too much in the comimg PSLE too.
