The Return Of The HAZE.....
-
Jennifer:
There are pple in the country who cant stay indoors with aircon on full blast. No matter which direction the wind carries the haze, it's still the innocent and poor pple who suffer the most.
When it come to a point where they couldn't stand it, maybe they can always start a riot or something or go and raid the plantation owners factories or something.
How i wish the whole indonesia only will be covered in 500 psi air for a whole month, and may the whole cabinet and plantation owners all fall sick from it...atrecord:

Maybe strong wind blowing the haze to Jakarta and other parts of indo instead of SG would be good.
Not too long ago, they're killing Chinese in their country. maybe they should attack those rich plantation owners too for bringing them the haze. -

i got relatives living in indonesia hor. and they are not related to the cause of the pollution hor.
The second part of my post was not quoted. It's their forest, their country, their policy. And it's up to them whether they wanna do anything about it.
Not like now, they don't care a damn and there's nothing other countries can do about it. -

esp d young n elderly n those with respiratory problems.
We shd all be good neighbours.
d sooner d Indonesians act on dis,
d better it is for everybody, well almost :moneyflies:
My intention was definitely not to have the innocent indonesian public die of lung ailments (nobody deserves that).
But rather, it was to affect them to the extent that they will then know the severity of the problem - and thereupon force their own crappy govt to finally do something concrete and go down hard on the culprits to stem the problem once and for all.
Only their own citizens can pressure their incompetent govt to act. If that doesn't happen, do you seriously think that our little red dot (like what their now-forgotten ex-president once said) and malaysians' words will cause them to take any real action?!?! It's so far all lip service, and as foreign policy protocol, we also do not dare to escalate the issue to a stage to trigger angry response from them -- look at the state of the affairs betw china and japan now to get some idea of what foreign affairs emotion can result in...
so hor - i'm not so evil lah

Now that the haze appears over, I suddenly have a urge to drive up to Genting. My son simply loves the rides there. And I love the strong S$.

With Strong S$, a lot of places is attractive.
US$ and Euro at one of the lowest point compare to the last few years.
It is like travel agency giving us a 10-20% discount.
