Hi 8706,
Wow... no CAs for P1 & P2 ... lucky.....
IPW is it refer to 'Inter Disciplinary Project Work' ?? :?
Has your DD did the IPW project ? Is it tough ?
If it is refer to Inter Disciplinary Project work, I heard is quite tough ler...
Hey, what does your hubby do as a member har ?
Usually weekdays or weekend ? (I means Saturday) ?
I myself also working, so dun think can contribute much time to the school
I have gone through their membership application form, they request us to choose our level of participation in SVPA.
One of the choice is : 'Interested to attend in SVPA event/activities/workshops and WILLING to volunteer in the events on ad hoc basis.'
Thinking to choose the above but dunno how frequent they have the ad hoc activities. Do you know that ? Can give me some information ?

kelyn:
Hi KelynMy son is P2 this year. No so much homework from Mon to Thur ; more hw on Friday, still ok as he can do it over the weekend

But I felt that the Chinese is quite tough in SV compare to other school. They have Chinese spelling and dictation (the sentences are quite difficult).
I think maybe depend the teacher...
He is under the HC group.. I was told HC has plenty of homework.
My girl chinese cannot make it..

Hi SV parents,
Can P1 students take CCAs har ?
-
Needy:
Hi my girl is in Pr 6 this year and my boy graduated last year.Hi SV parents,
Can P1 students take CCAs har ?
In my children's times, the P1 students can join selected CCAs such as Chinese Dance - but audition is required. I think my girl joined Chinese Dance in pr two and my boy joined tennis in pr 3 after selection exercises.
There may be other enrichment CCAs such as violin or ballet but parents have to pay for them. That's all I know... -
Hi csc, thanks for your informations
BTW, is anyone of you placing your child in student care centre nearby SVPS ?
I have visited some and found out one of them namely Wat Patther Student Care Centre. This is a Buddhist non-profit organization and I like it because located at ground floor instead of others are under basement. Anybody have ideas of this centre ? Can share with me ?

This is the right thread for your questions, dear. Now we have to wait till some kind soul with the right experience comes to say something about this. -
Some of my friendsβ children attending southview go to Ichiban Studentcare behind palm garden. Transport will send them to school if iβm not wrong.
