I am a parent whom are now going into the balloting exercise at SCGS next Tues…66 choose 55. So will they pick the 11 odd one out or go thru the whole process of balloting the legitimate 55??

Anyone experienced it before…can share tips? Wife says:"can take the stress"…I says:"don’t worry too much…it’s out of our hands now"

Yes. This is what the school admin told me over the phone. Did you all not receive calls from the school regarding the ballot ? I got a call from the school yesterday.. They also told me they will pick 91 names from the ballot box and not just draw 6 names to disqualify.

          Mgsim,
Can I know if the balloting process can be viewed by the public? ANy idea?
I am planning to enrol my girl in HOng Wen 2014, hence am keeping track now...

                  ChiefKiasu,
I like your icons.. so funny ..haha..

                  Ryes,
My suggestion to you would be to start PV 2 yrs before your child enrols for P1. Then you will be eligible for Phase 2B.

agree. get a place before you have to fight with the hordes at phase 2c. Way too stressful.

Better still, get start in some grassroot work, so you have options for more than ome school in the area, for phase 2c.

Well, for the benefit of parents preparing for the P1 registration in the next N years, we've finally updated the 2009 Phase 2C balloting info and statistics into our http://www.kiasuparents.com/kiasu/content/singapore-primary-1-registration-school-balloting-history, with the next round of updates scheduled for after Phase 2C Supplementary. Apologies for the delay.

aiyah, must plan first mah, must monitor you know, otherwise so stressful.
She will be in N1 next year, so have to start planning my route liao.

If need to PV, I have to do it 2 years prior mah. so am gathering all the information on hand. Curious-ks, I am also thinking to PV IF needed, hence need to see the historial tables to decide…

Anyway, I dont think is being kiasu. It is always good to look far and think ahead.

                        Cheerios!
