Darling Bear:
Just when to the school, fill up a form (name of school, student name, index no, subject to re-check & remarks), pay $, that's it.
Please share with us the outcome after the recheck. May help future p6 parents in their decision to recheck the results also. And good luck ! -

What is the last day to submit for recheck? and when will they inform you about the outcome of the recheck? -

I was contemplating to recheck my dd's MT paper. After consulting FT, she shared that based on past years experience, the outcome after recheck is there is no problem. Thus, has given up this and just pray for the best for S1 posting.Communicated with DS's teacher as we are not very happy with his English grade.
Seems like there are quite a few cases of expected A*s in the class who only gotten an A.
She said most likely was due to the writing section and paper this year was tricky.
And not much point to ask for a reveal as these are very subjective situation.
There are others in KS forum here with similar situation as well.

Language paper is very subjective , difficult to change anything.

We can't request to see the 'O' Level or 'A' Level scripts, can we? The schools don't even return the English composition papers written during their internal exams. -
Hi this is my 4th kid taking PSLE, hence "less kiasu liao".
This yearโs language marks threw out surprises for quite a number of children. My dd has been consistently very good in Chinese, and it was the subject we banked on. She represented her school in Chinese compo. competition, topped her school in Chinese in the Prelims, and scored a distinction in higher Chinese in the PSLE. But her Chinese dropped to A, while the other subjects scored A*, pulling down her total marks to mid 255. These happened to the English marks for some of her friends. I was also comtemplating whether to recheck her marks, but decided to move on in the end, to spare dd any trauma.
Just want to encourage everyone to perservere in the long road ahead. Over the years, one of my kids did very well from begining to end, one had to climb mountains just to stay on the road, while another slipped into a crevise before climbing up into bright light. Just be there for them. Cheer, encourage and catch them when they fall! -

Thanks less kiasu liao for sharing your experience. I am a first time P6 mummy, thus quite inexperienced and gancheong. However, after reading so many posts on ksp, I have gained much and will be more prepared for my ds who will take psle next yr.Hi this is my 4th kid taking PSLE, hence \"less kiasu liao\".

Personally I feel you have a compelling reason to ask for a review.
Now I know quite a lot are on the same boat, for both English and Chinese.
