I want to share what I have booked @Bintan Lagoon Resort for a 3D2N Deluxe Sea Facing room stay.
We paid for a family of 4 @$680 (including ferry) to travel on the weekend of 2012 CNY.

Adult nett SGD$270 (Be it twin or triple sharing)
Child nett SGD$70 w/o bed
Child nett SGD$195 w bed

I booked thru agent, not sure if it will be cheaper to book directly from the resort.
If anyone else has the rate, could you please share.

For those of you who had been to Batam/Bintan, did you park your car at the Tanah Merah Ferry Terminal? Just saw on the http://www.singaporecruise.com.sg/index.php/terminals/scctanah-merah/parking-fees/ that parking fee is $20 per day!

I did. I had once came back on a Sunday evening, and it was raining. Waited for a long time for a cab. So decided to drive henceforth.


The carpark is fenced up and a police patrol car routinely drive by (saw the police car drove by several times while I was waiting for cab). So should be reasonably safe to park there.

We will be staying for 2 nights, so the parking will cost us $40+! :faint:

Any reviews for Bintan Agro Beach Resort or Bintan Cabana Stay? What to do there? How long is ferry trip - choppy or not? Scared of sea-sick.

ferry ride can be quite choppy about 2/3 of the way to Bintan, at about where the shipping lanes are. Especially when it is rainning heavily.

2 hours ride? Safe or not huh? I never like boat rides. Yaks.
