School welfare and bus transport are totally different subject matters. Perhaps you can share a brief background on your concerns?

Hi BlueBell, thank you for answering my problem, welfare of the students is affected by school bus operators.
If you can, please help to let me know who is in-charge of student welfare and who is in-charge of school bus operators, thanks in advance! -
Nothing is more effective than ST forum or internet forum…
Let the world know, and things will be done. -
Sorry, I have no answers to your questions.
As far as I know, the bus transport is independent of MOE. The school likely contracted the school bus operator itself.
I suggest you speak with the school bus auntie / bus driver first, to see if it can be resolve within their ability. If not, escalate it to the bus transport operator and the school Principal. -
sounds to me that you are feeling your kid’s life is not in safe hand under the current school transport arrangement…
School is the party contracted the bus operator so it has certain liabilities towards the children onboard thus answerable to the parents, unless you have signed some disclaimer form before taking the school bus.
Maybe u can consider to see MP in that area to advise you on your concern?
Think this may be a faster channel… -
Go search sgdi.gov.sg
Has all the email addresses and tel of civil servants incl the ministers. Search MOE and you can click on the respective depts. -
ooioo, have you spoken directly to the bus driver/operator?
I had some minor issue with drop-off arrangement initially but after speaking to the driver, it was resolved. -
Minister (Education) is not a Civil Servant so the highest ranking Civil Servant for MOE will be Permanent Secretary (Education).
However if you are concern about children’s safety on school buses, it is the Ministry of Transport that regulates vehicles so I think you should write to PS (Transport) and carbon copy to PS(Education).
