Place/Ideas to Celebrate Wedding Anniversary?

Actually i WAS ignorant too..
My ignorance translated to my
asking the sales lady what you
just quoted above.... but i said
it like... aloud. She says
its ok. She gets similar response
from others too.... when she says
titanium. So, going by the harder
the better....... i went with titanium
lor.. So i got like a wee bit of a plane on
hubs finger la then right? Aww... my first
plane piece. :please: ..... tiny piece that is.
I bought titanium ones from Goldheart.
The sales lady mentioned : scratch-proof.
Haiz. We've gotten ours from Goldheart too and it's titanium. But it's full of scratch. -
Ok EN, later i check buds_hubs one..
Can sue the sales lady or not? Or is
it our fault that we're that gullible?
But hey, who wouldn't right?
The word's TITANIUM leh.. -
For me, i've always had sensitive skin.
So, bo pian lor.. can only take the gold
and white gold versions of jewellerey &
also most definitely... the diamonds.
There was once i itched after donning the
new white gold necklace buds_hubs bought.
Only after minutes having it around my neck
you know... so naturally i gave him THE LOOK.
Then he frantically quipped, \"I bought it from
Goldheart leh, not from pasar malam one!
See! Got box and receipt here hor..\" -
1st year we went back to the hotel that we had our wedding reception. Stayed the weekend there.
2nd year celebrated by getting ourselves sloshed with close frens.
3rd year cannot remember how we celebrated think he forgot that year.
thereafter it has been the usual take the day off, either go for a couples spa or movie and dinner.
10th year next year, think maybe we should take off to hokkaido as a celebration.
On the subject of wedding bands...
We replaced our rings 2 yrs ago. We got platinum rings. Strange thing is my rings keep going out of shape. According the salesperson, platinum is one of the harder metal, definitely harder then gold and the ones we got this time round are not the filmsy delicate ones and still it is out of shape. DH's is still ok.
Talk about removing rings. I had to remove my wedding band when I was preggy due to the swelling. DH got upset, he kinda pantang. Said not good to remove wedding band, blah blah blah. So I told him then you let me wear yours, think it can fit now that my fingers are so swollen. He look at me :? and asked then what about me. Told him you wear mine lah, since you do not think it is an issue to wear a ring that is too small. He :stupid: but in the end I wore it on a chain and he  -
Luanee:
What is the material of your wedding band? You can alter it if it's too tight.About wedding bands, I couldnt fit in mine after my first preg so DH bought me a new one later. But now it's too loose so I wear it on my middle finger hee... He can still wear the old one though..
Honeymoon was in Europe, think too far and too exp now that we have 2 kids.. wear back wedding gown? Think need to go Expressions first... Check into hotel? Mmm... -

Hi.
Just to Share.
Celebrated our 7th anniversary few days back.
:hugs:
Nothing fancy.. Left the children at CC..
Went for lunch together. Over lunch, we shared and reflected on the past 7 years - how we has developed as a person, couple and family. We also discussed on areas that we need to nurture further as a family. It was a great makan for the tummy and of course for the brain.
Its just one of those rare times that we could sit down and talk heart to heart without the kids around.
Wanted to catch a movie after that but since the timing was not good... hubby suggested that we went for pedicure instead :whut: .. but we enjoyed ourselves... :hugs: -
What is Wedding anniversary?
Itβs just another day for me and DH and i donβt really remember we ever celebrate. Did we?
Our anniversary falls on Jan 5th and honestly, i have not received any gifts or flowers from my DH for very long time le. Maybe the last time he gave me a rose, yes a stalk of rose from the wet market! 5-6 years ago and thatβs it.
We donβt wear our wedding band at all! Just hiding at a corner of the house!
On the 5th Jan, one of my newly wedded colleagues is taking leave to celebrate her hubby birthday and i need to stand in her duties so this year, definitely no celebration but am i looking forward to one after so many years? Hehe
I think anniversary is for couples that are really in love with each other or else no point celebrating just for the sake of " Hello, today is our wedding anniversary"
