Car insurance from directasia.com
-
Hahaha.. its a losing battle to argue!
The premium is quite a big difference, so i doubt my current insurer (AXA) can even go anywhere close to them... LOL

Thanks much for the lead. I tried going in there. the quote is cheaper than what china taiping quoted me - difference not a lot but any savings is still welcome. Will go back to compare the terms but likely to take the plunge with directasia.
yeah!!! -
Hahah... so, we shd be taking the plunge at ard the same time!!
It is indeed v competitive pricing... Actually, I am not good with the terms of car insurance.. but a broker who was checking on quotes for me, told me that the terms frm directasia.com are pretty much standard... so, that kinda assured me that it shd be fine.. but i do feel bad towards the broker, since it means i have kinda \"wasted\" his time checking for me with other insurers... but no choice.. my wallet is calling.... \"savings\"....

Been with them since June last year and intend to continue. Really saved a lot of $$ and the extra $$ goes to road tax.
-
Anyone with direct asia and actually made a satisfactory claim?
-
Just committed. Saved a bit, not enough to cover road tax, but money is money…
-
I have just committed too… likewise, not enough for rd tax, but its a few hundreds difference… so good savings there!

Hi
This is the first time I am owning a car (Buying a second-hand). Saw this DirectAsia with very good quote but there is one part that says if any modification of the car, it have to be LTA compliant. How do we know if the car is modified and LTA compliant?
Anyone had bad experiences with the company so far??
Thanks. -
Hi sweethearts,
You can go to this page here to check which car modifications are LTA compliant:

I hope that helps? -
i have been with DA since their inception. must be the cheapest i say if you dont take up the optional stuffs.
If you are a very safe driver that doesnt drive a lot… eg opc car… i would say go for this.
why pay more when end of the day you will not be making any claim!
