Yes, DD does and she's already 3 coming to 4. I am waiting for the day to drive her out. Scheming to tempt her with nice bed fame and princess mattress cover. Hehe. Must get down to my shopping.

DD saw her neighbor with own room, envious & ask for her own room, wanted to shift out of my room & not share with older bro. I repainted the room into white & pink, deco with flower stickers, repolished the parquet etc. When all ready, she changed her mind. :spank:
Till now, all 4 of us still in the master room together.
Oh man, for all those efforts! I would have :spank:

My 12 yo and 6 yo has been sleep in their individual room for about 2 yrs le. Before that they sleep together, but when the younger one got chix pox I got the older one to sleep in the guest room, since then, he ask to convert the guess room to his room and they have been sleeping on their own. The younger one will sometime ask to sleep with us but we usually say no, only occasionally or when I am out of town.
I think we treasure the alone (just 2 of us) time as only after the kids are asleep we can spent quiet moments together. -
My kids move out of the master bedroom when they were 7.

Had wanted to 'chase' them out....but eventually, didn't.
Seems that the kids would chat/play a little with each other b4 sleep.....so hoping to foster/strengthen their bond before putting them into separate own rooms. -
Heheeee...My DD 9yrs old still sleeping on our bed !
When she was a baby she slept in the baby cot place in our room till 2+,
then we put her in the toddler bed till 4+. After that she slept on the mattress on the floor beside our bed. But because she has nose allergy ,we decided to let her sleep on our bed, since then she become permanent resident in our bed. very often we woke up in the middle of nite with ShocK ! Kena punch or Kick by DD :frustrated: End up my DH prefered to sleep on the mattress (floor).
We madeover the other room when she started P1. She happily move to her own room. BUT.........very soon she migrated back to her Hometown....our bed.Till NOW......
Well, I enjoy watching her sleeping, looking at her sweet face , I feel very contented....sometime even heard she giggle in her dreams. I am happy I didn't miss all these precious moment.
As the result , it build a very strong bonding between us. Many nights My DD will say...\"Mummy, lets sleep together and CHIT CHAT...\" I like chit chat with her ! DD will sleep on my shoulder, share one blacket, then talk about everything under the MOON... What happened in school, her friends, jokes and secrets...and her problems too.
I think its good that DD starts to share everythings with us from young....Hope the days she become Young lady, still share this precious moment together.
What about my DH?? :frustrated: :stompfeet: :slapshead: Jealous -
We recently insisted our DD (6yo) emigrate to her own room and when we found that she can be independent we heaved a sigh of relief so now she can simply apply per entry visa to come back. No questions ask!
Agree it helps with bonding. We kiss hug and cuddle... So sweet and so cute when she is not doing ballet kicks... Some people think this is not healthy but if it makes all 3 of us happy that's all it matters. Besides very soon she will one day want to be on her own. Then we will sure suffer empty nest syndrome. So why not enjoy while it lasts? :please: -
Our youngest son used to be afraid of the idea of sleeping alone at night. Our solution was to get him involved and excited about creating a really cozy “big boy bedroom” for him. He chose a jungle theme with a loft bed he calls his tree. He is so fond of his tree now we have a new problem. Getting him out of it!

My DD also \"migrated\" when she turns 7. By getting her involved in decorating her own bedroom, choosing her own bed and bedsheets (yes, bought her favourite princesses bedsheets ) helped in the successful move from our bed to her own bed. In long term, it is not advisable to allow the child to share the same bed for too long.

Haha~!lol~!
My DD who is only 2 yrs old has effectively kicked me out of bed with my wife. hahaha
But the fun side is before her bedtime, she will always wanna sleep on daddy's bed ... which is the mattress on the floor.
So cute .... it's like she just wants to be where I am ...
Dearest Wife is pregnant again !@!!!!! WooHoo!@@@!
But she wont be able to keep lifting DD up into the bed (after she's fallen asleep), coz I'm afraid I'll squash her.
I cant carry my daughter into bed coz my arms are really big... and... so far... every attempt has woken her up.
Now we got a serious space issue, anybody got any advice how to cram 2 kids & 2 adults into 1 bedroom??? -
