Does anyone know if Rosyth Pri is likely to relocate or expand at current site ? Since schools will be going single session in 2016, Rosyth will not be able to accomodate so many students (it is still on double session) unless they cut dn intake very drastically.

Now I am a bit concern if they decide to expand on site, wld it be very noisy and dusty … esp if it is during dd’s PSLE year.

They said that they'll call if they did not received. So, don't fax in and keep calling to check whether they received...

Means if nobody call you, they already received the form. Cause the form still have to send in whether you decided to take up or to let go... and need the child to sign on the form itself...

Hi All , What I got from the counter on 11th Nov is they will call on 17th Nov if they dont recieve the application . so please wait. if you dont receive any call on tuesday means it is already reached the MOE

vlim, my ds refused to read \"Chaarlotte Web\" and said it is for girl, though he watched the show before. Does it matter if he does not read some of the designated story books? :? Did it happen to your son?

hi zann, when we bought that book, son promptly gave me the necklace that came with it. He also felt that it’s for girls. But he finished reading anyway though we had also watched the movie already.

I guess it doesn’t matter if he skips 1 book. There’re lots more in the reading list and the kids are not expected to finish reading all of them. Let him read books that interest him too. Mine loves the dan brown series, rereads the h potter series, golden compass, artemis fowl, inheritance series, twilight series (though more for girls n their mummies too) and lots more.

This is a misconception that needs to be clarified. \"Charlotte's Web' is definitely not a 'girl-girl' book . Charlotte is not a girl - it's a spider, a female one (maternal one, somemore). And the other main character is a male pig by the name of WILBUR and not forgetting my son's fav character - TEMPLETON - the rat.

Such a beautiful book - how can one miss reading it?

Anyway, it's harmless reading 'girl-girl' books. My son used to read Nancy Drew and Naughtiest Girl and some other 'girl-girl' books like Katie Kazoo. It's my girl who refuses to pick up 'Hardy Boys' . Instead she enjoys reading Chinese Cinderella, Chinese Cinderella and the Secret Dragon Society and Falling Leaves by Adeline Yen Mah.

charlotte web is the only book that is required to be purchase my gep p4 pupils and is stated in the booklist. The english teacher will go thru with them and require the students to do some write out abt this story. If u are referring to those books that are inside the reading lists then those are not compulsory to read..but those are the recommended good story books (most of them are award winning story books) by the gep department . 😄

my son also didn't like it initially and did not read charlotte web story bk till he was told to do so by the teacher. 😉
