      Hi Creampuff,

I think you should read the respective threads on XueLin and BusyBee. My daughter is at XL, and its good. Not tried BB, but a forumer mentioned that she withdrew her daughter from BB and switched to XL.

Anyone knows any good CL tutor to reco, pls PM me. Thank you.

here’s to reply the PM I have received since the questions are similar…

        1) My sis said my nephew was with the same TH teacher in K level and only changed to another teacher in PS level. For Berries, have changed twice the teachers in both K level and PS level. From her observation, the few TH teachers was there for years, berries has more younger teachers that comes and go.

        2) TH material is based on MOE so more relevant to PS.

        3) TH gave spelling and 4 term tests since K2, Berries don’t give spelling but have tests starting in P2 Jun & Dec.

        4) TH have show & tell starting K1, Berries has it mid P1.

        5) After seeing the results from her 2 boys, she agreed that Berries is over-rated.

            Monster Mummy:
            Hi,

I agreed with you of changing the school but if the system doesn't work for them we may need to find out the root cause. Yet,I know sone parents did expect to see improvement else they will source another centre. For me, I have change for my boy as well especially I feel that he need more intensive learning to keep his interest.
            Hi Monster Mummy,

How old is your boy, how did you convince him to change to another center?

              Hi,

My kid is 8 years old, I should be lucky as he is quite easy with change. Maybe since young he has encountered Many changes like teacher and classes. But for my young, it might be a risk for me but if no choice I would still try to convince her. The young need to persuade.

U r so lucky, is he enjoying at the new center?

I tot the younger they are the easiler to change their classes, once they enter into PS, more tough to persuade them just like my nephew.

My younger is more hard core difficult to persuade, elder one still okay.
