Anyone who has children in TAS K2 class ?
Can share what is their programme like ?
classes usually start in the middle of the year and they help prepare the kid for P1. They cover creative writing and compre, grammar, vocab. My friend felt it was good preparation for P1.
Thanks for your sharing.

Hi,
Trying to compare between TAS K2 class and LCentral PFS(Preparation for School) class….
Does TAS K2 class have equal exposure to Grammer, Comprehension, Vocabulary, Rearranging words etc or is it very much skewed towards Creative writing (i.e. memorization of creative phrases etc)? Does TAS class have standard workbooks/materials available for parents to take a look first?
Thanks! -
Good morning everyone
Can someone advise would there be any repetition if I sign up with TAS and LCentral?
Thank you. -
For LCentral, I am unable to comment. As for TAS, they cover on paper 1 and 2 except oral. It would be recommend for you to go trial before for TAS decide which centre to sign up.

Is not of repetition to be concern of. Your child will just be getting more practise on composition writing especially. Can tell you which centre she/he enjoys more also if you are able to invest in both. Otherwise, just go to either one first.Good morning everyone

Actually won’t attending two centers covering about the same thing be an overkill? I stick to only one centre per subject unless there is very good reason. Already my kids nag if I attempt to introduce a new one.

Thanks to queenie44 & hquek for your advises.
I had tried both LCentral & TAS trial classes, my child prefers LCentral but I find that TAS seems to touch more on creative writing.
Maybe I should follow my child’s preference? -
If your child has expree wishes, find out why first. If it is the teacher or environment, then by all means go ahead with Lcentral. I think what is most impt is the child has fun.
My kid likes TAS and enjoys himself. He may not score well inside, but as long as he is happy and comfy, I’ll leave him be. -

True. The kids will try to negotiate with me even if I want to change the timing of the class or introduce new one unless they request for it.
