There will also be cases whereby some students are exempted from MT, so their PSLE score is based on the remaining 3 subjects. I suppose in such cases, the students' performance will not be affected by the cohort's MT performance. And the advantage will be more time to study for other subjects 🙂

Are you sure that students exempted from mother tongue will have their PSLE score calculated only on remaining 3 subjects? I have friends whose kids are exempted from MT and MOE has refused to comment on how their PSLE aggregates will be calculated.

I don't know how MOE calculate the PSLE score for 3 subjects. But I would think that it has to be based on these 3 subjects only. I may be wrong though.

The latest edition of PopClub magazine will be out from 13-Nov, this Friday.

I supposed the 20% discount off assessment books will kick in this weekend.

        Just a FYI.
Went to popular and found many assessment books are pack into so called value pack and in nett price, so the 20% discount are not available. For example the \"teacher's @ work\" series of Grammer and Vocab. Can someone comment if this series of books are good?

Coming 11 Dec there is going to be a bookfair and can usually get good bargin, so buy what you need to use first at this moment.

            all.in.one:
By the way, important to complete entire P6 syllabus before June holidays 2010, even if school has not finish. Otherwise, after June holidays, no more time to digest.

June Holidays will be a time to review whatever P3 to P5's stuff as well
as tackle other school papers and PSLE past papers.

For EL and Chinese, best to start practicing papers right from the start
            of the year.

            Hope this helps!
            Hi all.in.one,

Popular bookfair is not at Expo. It is at Suntec Convention Centre. Start 11 Dec, I think.

Pardon my ignorance but is there such a thing? Table of specs for the various subjects for PSLE?

Do you mean the exam format for each subject ? If so, you can view the format for different subjects here :
