      Hi

Can someone clarify please if the scholarship amount is the same as last year for P5, i.e $400 for top 5% and $350 for the next 5%?

      Thanks a bunch!

From year 2012 onwards, this is from MOE website http://www.moe.gov.sg/initiatives/edusave/funds-grants-awards/

For Primary 5 or 6 pupils

If your child is studying in primary 5 or 6 in a government or a government-aided school, he is eligible for the Edusave Scholarship for Primary Schools if he is amongst the top 10% of students of his level. Your child will be selected by his school for this scholarship based on his overall school examination results for the year. The value of the award is $350.

We r so sad, due to error of school/MOE, we rec’d the Edusave Merit Bursary when it’s supposed to be a scholarship. After I checked w school, then an investigation was done in end December and we will only rec the correct letter an award end of Jan/early Feb. Understand that we will miss the presentation by then. Wonder why a letter take so long ?

                    …awarded by your constituency.

Not sure where to post this under schooling as it can apply to both pri and sec. Anyone knows what are the criteria to be awarded the above cert? I only know is base on top 25% of individual school, do they base on type of housing? Are independent school entitle as well?

                    Thanks
