My DS uses SPI small-size bag from P1-3. For P4 GEP whereby more files and less text/activity books are used, what type of school bag are you getting for your kids? Will SPI bigger version be a good option? Do we need to prepare a separate file folders/tote bag to hold the worksheets?

I heard there will be a lot of filing, I'm wondering if we have to buy school files or any files will do ( sorry if silly qn coz my dds have to use school files, strictly)

Ex-parent here. You need 1 subject 1 ring file (math usually need 2) for filing purpose. For day to day bringing to school. Buy 1 multi-pocket folder (5or more pockets, 1 for each subject). Your child will put all his homework, notes, etc in each respective subject pockets. Weekly, get him to do filing into the subject file. some teachers request certain color for certain subject ring file. For multi-pocket daily folder, it's up to you. Usually this folder gets very thick, cannot put into bag so you may want to get one with handle so he can carry separately. This method worked wonderfully for dd for 3 years.

Which school is your DS at? I thought all uses the same Charlotte's Web but looks like there are still small difference between schools.

So far DS Sch didn’t ask them to buy any book. They are learning parts of speech now.

Eh…I thought we were told at the briefing that the GEP curriculum is the same throughout all the GEP centres. If so, why schools r using different materials?
