All About T-Score

ngl2010:
If she is not in the top 1/3 of the school, she won't get it, right? Girls usually have higher t-score than boys.
No, EESIS is awarded across the board based on COP.
This is hypothetical? Bec it's not possible that someone with 264 did not get EESIS unless she's not Singaporean.jtoh:
Got another question about this foreign language thing:
You've got two students who are both in top 10%
Alex: 263, GEP, EESIS due to GEP
Anna: 264, no EESIS
Both apply for same foreign language. Alex gets it but Anna doesn't. How is this possible?
There may be a few things that I didn't include so tell me
Thanks. -
agreed with Jtoh, EEISS does NOT discriminate gender, it is by merits. as long as top 3% of cohort , EEISS cut off t-score, all SG kids be given.

I think the question is on foreign language… Maybe the language is Jap and the boy have higher chinese?

If I'm not wrong, SARS only appeared at end of 2002. If the birth rate is low for that year, I doubt it has anything to do with SARS.
you're right!

Can know the cutoff point for EEISS? -
24hr_mum:
Each year the cutoff point for EEISS is different because it depends on the cohort.VALyap:

Clarifications: I did use a hypothetical score but here are the actual results. Note that this was also not within the last 5 years so things might have changed.
Person A: 260, GEP, EESIS due to GEP, got into School Y through GEP DSA
Person B: 261, no EESIS, got into School X
Both applied for French. Person A got it but Person B didn’t.
EESIS COP was 262.
Person B did not get into School Y at first (because of COP) but appealed and got in. At School X, Person B was told that he/she did not get 3rd lang. -
