i agree with fellow mummies on the TV BAN too!But it takes a LOT of reinforcement especially for those who work. It’s hard to let our caregivers especially the MIL, know that TV is bad cos old people don’t see it that way…i had disagreements previously but now a SAHM n able to control it better! i prefer the kids to run under the sun or do some sports to reduce the risk of them being overweight and myopic…

Well the first thing that comes to mind is Julia Gabriel. 2 times a week, 1.5 hours each time only though. Can go from 8 months onwards I think. It’s called Playnest. The only thing is that it’s not cheap, and they only have centres at Evans Road and Big Splash. It’s really fun and the teachers are really good though!

To keep young children warm, wear leggings(socks attached) and tight fitting long t-shirts tugged into the leggings. You need to trap the heat inside the body. For the head, it is good to have a woollen cap.Once you have done this step, all other layers added on can vary according to the temperature.A scarf is very versatile and if too cold, it can cover neck, ears and nose. All the small parts of the body will turn chill very quickly so this is useful to have.

hquek, I agree with jedamum that I am not impressed with the Bt Batok one at West Mall. CCK has a much better and bigger selection. Unfortunately, I am stuck with the BB one most of the time.If I can, I’d rather visit the ones at Jurong West (opp. Jurong Pt), Jurong East and Woodlands. They are bigger, newer and have better selections.
