DadofGirl, your dd scored ABC/C for her recent CT exams? Isn’t that very good?

No ... her best score is in GP(B) & Rest C or below. Managed to pass all with one subject E.
Looks like Promo no problem & thereafter some improvement with ultimate score of ABC/C.
That won't get her in good uni here πŸ˜“

Just keep working and hope for the best. My daughter's partial results are currently 2 fails and 1 scrape (in her H1!). Still waiting for the rest of the results. We have a long, long road ahead. I dare not even estimate what her eventual results might be.

I think its too early to worry abt A level results n her chances of entering good U.

Its just the start of JC1 n they havent got the hang of the standards.

I believe by the time they reach A level exams next year, they will be more prepared.

All our girls here are in the same boat!!!!

DadofGirl, this projected A level results is by your own estimate or the school's? I believe all JCs try to give killer papers to the students in CTs and Promos to wake them up to the prospect of the A levels, which is mere months away.

Rule of thumb... i was told for Mid year

Dadofgirl, may i know which JC is yr gal from?
Imo....it's too early to worry now as this is only their first CT...
They will def get better results when comes to their A level exams next yr...
Dont forget, there will be moderation...

Does the sch realease the cohort stats or class stats ? From there, u can hv a better gauge where yr gal stands....
