The owner need to act as guarantor?Proven. You can be borrower without being owner.
The bank is still holding the house a mortgage even though now owned by another person
Say in a legal battle, the borrower run road. The owner pay the bank his share of the loan. The owner now owns the bank nothing. What right has the bank to seize the property? How does the bank protect it's interest? -

:goodpost: Hi, I am selling my property (2BR, newly renovated) at Regal Court (high floor, fireworks view), 10-15mins drive to good schools along Bukit Timah e.g. SCGS so suitable for those with young school going children. It's close proximity walking distance to Whampoa market and food ctr with accessibility to famous tasty local food. Good for busy adults with not much time to cook. It's city fringe so just 15mins drive to town. 3 NTUC around with 1 of them operating 24hrs and within walking distance, and another is a NTUC Finest. If you are keen, pls follow this link to contact my agent. Tx!

Are the prices of property going south? It seems it isn’t with the recent news on Forest Woods
-
Won’t be unless interest rates start rising. People can still afford since both the interest rate and unemployment rate are low.
-
Earlier this year the SIBOR seemed heading north but probably not now.
-
Agree with TakChek. Prices already headed south but not enough. Btw, we don’t know what the developers give as rebates back to the buyers as we only see the listed price. Anyway, prices have not dropped enough to entice me to buy.

Yahlor put on hold our property search. Will have to spend more years in loan repayment if buy at this price point. Like that how to retire by retirement age.

For leasehold, my main concern is resale. If property already 10+ years and then I bought and live there for another 10 years
After that still can sell easily or not? :nailbite: If become illiquid, lelong also no buyer then
I'm looking at D9, 10, 11. Prices still super high
