I read your boy's impressive resume.
My boy is in RI Y3 and takes Computer Elective Programme. Though I can't be 100% sure, I don't think he is at your son's level.
I'm not sure what other schools you applied too but hang on k.. An ALscore of 9 is pretty good. He likely can still make it to TJC IP or ACS/VS/SJI O level program where he can switch to IP in later years.
NUSH also have Supplementary Intake Exercise (SIE) in Nov. So don't give up! Keep chasing!
Meanwhile, do targeted practices for his weak areas in EL and ML to lower his overall ALscore and to build a stronger foundation for IP/IB program.

Sadly, we received a rejection letter from RI. Hehe but it's ok! DS tried his best and I am proud of him for gamely (bravely too!) going through this process, albeit a last minute one because we never thought about trying it until earlier this year. Getting invite to sit for a test was already a bonus for us.


Anyway... good luck to everyone and may your children get the best school for themselves. Our DSA journey ends here.

Hi~ no we haven't gotten any news from SST after the test.
I heard some already gotten dates for interviews in August.

Majority of RI students (65 to 70%, similar to some other IP schools) are admitted to RI via PSLE grades.

Hope your DS applies to RI after receiving his PSLE results end of the year. All the best to his PSLE!

received email shortlist for RI interview (math domain)

I think there was a year or two where the interviews were conducted individually (due to Covid?). It should be back to group of 3 students attending the interview together (for Academic Domain).
