      KSP:
Top Pri Sch = Top PSLE result

I would think the follow Pri schools which have GEP programme would most likely (although not always) produce Top PSLE results.

      - Anglo-Chinese School (Primary) Boys
      - Catholic High School (Primary)* Boys
      - Henry Park Primary School Co-ed
      - Nan Hua Primary School* Co-ed
      - Nanyang Primary School* Co-ed
      - Raffles Girls' Primary School Girls
      - Rosyth School Co-ed
      - St Hilda's Primary School Co-ed
      - Tao Nan School* Co-ed
I agree with you. After all, they are the top 1% of the whole cohort.

This makes me wonder something. How does those students (in GEP school but not in GEP class) fare? Wonder any students (that come from normal classes) actually tops the PSLE results? I will be impressed if normal classes can also produce top PSLE result. Then that school can be really considered.

Anyone knows where to look for probability of students getting to Secondary School for all primary schools and even better the percentage for each stream.

Each school will announce these stats to parents of graduating P6 students when they receive their PSLE results. Some will post these stats on their school website so you can check there.

Top school means top scorer’s score?

If top scorer is 290 but the next best score is 240. Will this school still be considered top school?

Let’s compare two schools, both are in top 20. This was their 2010 rsults. School A produced > 30 students with 4 A* and an average T score of 210+. School B produced just > 10 students with 4 A* and an average T score of 230+. which school do you think produced a better results? πŸ™‚

PSLE is placement exam so aggregate score is more important.
But based on current system, it might not be that difficult to achieve higher aggregate score (ie organise student recruitment overseas especially non english speaking cos leeway given for them to catch up @ the disadvantage of the majority of students).

I judge a school by how the majority of the cohort performs. So I would say School B with the higher average T-score of 230 is better than School A. Having 1-2 students scoring 280+ and the next highest scoring 250 doesn't make it a good school. Would you consider Qifa a top primary school? 2009's PSLE top scorer was from Qifa. Her aggregate was 290. But I hear the next highest scorer was 260+.

Why do we want to know which primary school is top? Because we want our kids to enjoy the same success as their illustrious seniors. We can't all have kids that are the top 1 or 2 in that school, but we can hope that they will at least be able to achieve the average T-score that the school has produced in the past.

Is there any website that list the ranking of primary schools in terms of PSLE result? The school that have the most students that scored 275 would be use as the parameter. We also have also see the profile of the Principal? If the Principal is super on the ball than the teachers would also "chong" type.
