Most welcome Yong HL.. .. 😄

Just spoke to people in Bangkok.. ...it is not over, really tensed up..
Airport will be affected too, and quite soon if the banks can't hold..
Hope Central Bangkok can be spared from the flood.. :xedfingers:

Bangkok is rather chaotic now and the domestic Don Mueang airport area experiencing knee-high flooding… Really not a good time to go with all the frustrations and mess…not for a while…

Especially the crocodiles are on the loose! 😮

I’m supposedly going there early November, but if no announcement from MFA, I cannot get a refund for my flight right?

You mean you can get a refund if there's an advisory from MFA? Don't think so right?

Really messy in Bangkok now… …hope they won’t have to go into the "State of emergency’ thingy… …I can’t imagine the city area in metre deep waters…

Surrounding dry cities are packed with people fleeing from the flood… …so if you are travelling do make sure your hotel bookings are confirmed… …
I see many Thais in Singapore too… …

Maybe you can talk to the travel agent to change the destination. While they may not allow a refund without a MFA announcement, they will probably entertain a change of destination.

Just talked to my friend who’s working in there. her area of BKK is still dry, but they have been given warnings time and again to expect flood. This state of nervousness has been going on for weeks. Hope this thing clears up faster than anticipated for them.

I thought some airlines are offering option to cancel/re-date? It’ll be amazing for any airline to insist travellers fulfil their itinerary.

the coming week is crucial due to high tide period

so even when they release the water to flow through the city it may not do the work because of incoming tide

it should have been done earlier to avoid clashing with incoming tide, wasted effort

                    Yingluck not in luck

Ever since the crazy man smashed 4 faced buddha’s statue at Grand Hyatt, Thailand has been having alot of issues politically and natural disasters.

If you re booked on Thai airways, think theY allow you to defer till later date. That s good gesture fr airline
