Chenonceau, you lucky gal, got so many moral support here! Don't forget the advice you gave me once. I know you can do it. 🙂

              just888 & Angelight… thank you!!

Today is Day 3. It has been smooth sailing so far. Having 2 separate kitchens and 2 separate entrances REALLY help. I give them their space and they give me mine. I hope this lasts!!

Having 2 kitchens is a big thing...a kitchen cannot have 2 women in control. I hope this arrangement will last and all goes well for you.

Good..next time I shall also go and \"create\" my own kitchen. haha.. So far only managed to create a mini pantry within the room. I think with the invention of induction cooker, my dream should not be far. hehe...

You are lucky to have 2 kitchens..... my house cannot have 2 kitchens and I guess the most fights start from there

Me house also can only have 1 kitchen 1 fridge.....and that's our main 'battle-ground'

I so agree with you, BeContented. We live in two separate houses...we have 1 kitchen, and 1 fridge...still MIL picks battle with the stuff I have in my fridge. Every Sat comes on pretext of bringing juices to my family and then open my fridge and kitchen cupboards to inspect. :faint:

How do I know when I'm at the market or supermarket during that time? My maid reports, and some time during the same day, she'd drop hints about the kinds of food in my kitchen... I just answer in my usual mono-syllabic response and leave DH to deal with her. :please:

Mine here is the Empress Dowager type…wants to be picked and sent. So I don’t worry about her going to my place. Eversince i sent off my maid, there is no chance for her to kaypoh about my family. Why does she have to know so much anyway ? Even if my cupboards are filled with instant noodles, so what ? My hubby hardly had home cooked meals before we married.
