Noticed that NYJC has high COP. It is not SAP, not IP..... curious why it is so popular??

Sorry, \"Fourth\" - you are referring to NYJC - as in, Nanyang JC? That's JC ... COP not that high. It is SAP and affiliated to the Chung Cheng group of schools. Is it very popular? I guess - for a 2nd tier JC, it could be considered popular. Or....... are you confusing it with NYGH - Nanyang Girls' High School which is an IP school leading to HCI?

Hi everyone!

I got 267 for PSLE with 4 A*s and merit for hcl. I am going to RGS as I already accepted the DSA CO there. Anyway, 267 qualifies for third Lang, right? I am really not sure coz I am overseas now and my grandma collected my results for me, so I haven't received the S1 option form. And which third Lang should I choose? So far I am thinking of choosing Japanese. Any ideas?
Also, do you know whether third Lang is very stressful and whether I should apply for it? Please advise, I am only a kid!
My best friend scored 252 (excluding HCL, I think tho not very sure). Do you think she qualifies for third Lang? I am not sure coz I didn't ask her yet, mainly coz I am overseas.

Ya she probably do. I got 252 too and I qualify for third lang including Japanese.

Huh????? :? HCL bonus points are included only if you apply SAP schools. Gender doesn't matter.

2. Victoria 'O' level
3. Anderson
4. SJI
5. ???
6. ???

Please offer me guidance on my choices and also help me fill up other two choices. BTW, SAP schools are not a choice for me as my MT is not chinese(but hindi).

No lah. There are no lousy classes in RGS. 265 is a very decent score.

Hi! I need some advice. My ds got 257+2. What are his chances of getting into HCI? I am undecided between NJC and RV as 2nd choice. Is it tough at HCI eg. long hours? Thanks.

I scored 257+3(HCL). These are the schools I would like to enter(Not in any order):NJC, DHS, Cedar and River Valley. Could anyone from NJC, DHS or River Valley give me some information on the special programmes there? Thanks! I’m in a total dilemma over which school to go to.

I think the other IP schools start as usual in the 2nd week of Jan, right?

I know the Raffles schools start in the 2nd week of Jan. But formal lessons after O level students admitted.

NJC also starts 2nd week of Jan. They help in orientation for the junior high while also having classes. The IP classes are separate from the non-IP (those that come in in JC1) as their curriculum differs.
