Worried parents taking children to psychologists

who ever set this kind of maths questions need to reflect!!! Is it nesscessary??

the so called 'challenging' questions to further 'push' our kids to 'think out of the box' :siao:

So at P1, the kids language skills and analytical skills have to be honed. If not, catch no ball.

An 11 yr old little girl asked an older lady how old she was. Her reply "When you are my age I will be 35. So how old am I now?"

Short qn but no less difficult. Certainly requires a gd grasp of the english language!

the adults were twisting their heads around it… I managed to figure out the answer thru trial and error in a few mins… but without heuristics training I really wonder how I’m gonna teach my kid this… sigh.

x = 3

chickens = 6x = 18

Today's kids are the test bed of MOE’s experimentation system to excel.

i think a matter of time parents would need to seek treatment in IMH as well!!!! esp those having kid doing PSLE!!

I donch know how. Donch like too. SIGH SIGH SIGH. have to go and learn all these model model back to sch when i have another method of solving it. parents need to be so WEI DA.

The answer is 23. The lady is currently 23 yo. Rite? But I dunno how to use models.


11 + 12 = 23
23 + 12 = 35
