Man slapping co-worker in viral video taken by SIM student
-
sinoboy:
Moral of story if you want a good intern get a foreign degree one. If don't want to be treated like this, get a foreign degree. :scratchhead:
Are you implying that it is better to get intern with foreign degree so you can bully the intern and the intern won't report you? Because the one with SIM degree reported the supervisor... -
That person could have been very agitated by the young intern...but to hit that intern is ridiculous  no matter how angry person is, physical abuse is unacceptable..thinking about this makes me wonder if his family members are subject to his physical abuse too.
If this video was not made known, would this incident be kept hush hush and forgotten by the management? Would this fella apologize?
This is like, I slap you and then say sorry...bcos it is known now. -
Such similar incident happened to me before but I didn't report to police. The place where I'm abused got CCTV captured but the top ppl cover up. The reason why I didn't fight back is because I still want to continue to work and earn money plus at that point of time I'm also pregnant. :gloomy:

If report to MOM you will still get the maternity leave, right? -
Is this a local firm or MNC?
-
Such cases are definitely covered up…bcos it is shameful.
Are people so lacking in sympathy and compassion now? Is there a need to resort to physical abuse? What has our society become?
No wonder Singa quit. -

If she wants to continue working there then better don't report loh. Even if she gets her maternity leaves you think she still can go back after maternity leaves? Even so, how the company going to treat her when she go back might be another issue.Linlin:

I try my best to tolerate my manager till i cant take it. I told one of my friend during company D&D for advise end up i went to union. Unitially i thought the story will end… i transferred to other branch and the new environment is gd im happy there. After my maternity, hq start to ter kan me as me to go diff branch to work everyday. Then they purposely to me to this problematic branch which is super far from my house. I need to travel from north to west everyday and my manager there is famous to kick ppl out so staff there turnover rate is high. When i approach union for help this time, the person didnt do his job at all… ended up im force to quit. (Im pregnant with my 3rd at that time)
I love my job and i never tot of leaving… the day i tender i couldnt bear to hand in my resignation.
I work in the company sell baby products and incharge of new born things… they dont support staff to give birth. -
